Welcome to browsertoolkit.com!

Welcome to everything you need as a modern web developer.

Our goal is to consolidate the best resources for the modern web developer, including cutting-edge design tutorials, graphic resources like icons, user interface elements, and a "No BS" view of the very latest news. The best part is, you can browse by topic or search. From time to time we add a burgeoning project to our labs section, giving you the chance to play with the latest prototypes & research we've been working on.

Comments, questions, requests and suggestions are always welcome! Send us an email.

So, what is all this stuff?

Home - You're lookin' at it, bub.

Search - Your hub for searching our resources including tutorials, images, news, articles, and more.

Browse - The browse functionality features our automatically generated jump-off point (read: directory) for each major topic we currently cover, broken down into the most relevant recent trends. Currently we cover about 50 topics from actionscript to SEO, to ruby, to webapis.

News - Literally up to the minute aggregation of our favorite news, broken out into topics, for the last 24 hours or the last 7 days, so you can get to what you want without having to wade through a hundred screens of garbage. This page will even refresh itself when there's something new to grok.

UI Scrapbook - Over the years I've collected over 3,000 screenshots of user interface elements from across the web. From e-commerce UI elements to methods of navigation, Apple's design to hard core data visualizations, you'll almost certainly find what you're looking for. The important part is, they're all screen-grabbed by hand and tagged, so you can get to what you want to explore quickly. Great for brainstorming!

Resources - The resources section is where we stash our hand-picked lists of sites on the net that have stuff to simply get things done. You can expect to find CSS templates, javascript libraries, IE6 fixes & hacks, design patterns, stock photos & images, vector art, and more. You can always use the "Jump to resource list..." dropdown menu in the upper right to quickly get to where you want to be.

Labs - We keep our not-so-secret-anymore projects, prototypes and research (and sometimes musings) here for you to peruse.

About - Hey, what kind of website would this be if we didn't tell you a little bit about ourselves.

We've also included links to automatically bookmark any page on browsertoolkit.com with Digg, Reddit, Del.icio.us, and others; you can find those links in the very upper right of any page.
